Children in Need 2023
Friday the 17th November was not only Children in Need night but also a club night at Montsaye. It was very well attended with 16 club members. It was decided that the club would donate to the Children in Need Appeal a penny for every point that was shot by all archers completing the Portsmouth round.
I’m delighted to report that £70 has been donated to the appeal, it also offered an insight into our club members shooting!
14 members and one quest completed score sheets.
Of the members shooting the 14 archers secured 77% of the maximum score – A great effort by all.
3 members with a combined score of 1722 secured 96% of their maximum score and one archer secured 98% – Well done Archie (no the younger one) 😊
There was however one stand out performance, apparently Pudsey himself joined us as a guest, shot longbow and scored a maximum score of 600. Good shooting Pudsey – you are welcome back any time!
